I own several juicing books, and I have tried many recipes; of course, having favorites that seem to work well. But I thought I would order this book and see what it has to offer. What it does it quite nice. The recipes are easy enough for anyone, the ingredients easily available, and the instructions and usage clearly printed.
There are so many recipes that it was difficult to choose one to start with, but since I had the ingredients on hand, I wanted to try the Blueberry Banana Booster (heart health, kid friendly, skin clarity). Each recipe gives you notes on what the juices are for; and there's even a recipe for Vegetable 8 (I already drink V8 so that's a winner in my book). There are immune boosters, cleansing and detox, and energy surge, among others. The handy index in the back lists the recipes, so you can see that there are quite a few. As I plan to try more for both my husband and I, this is a good way to get the nutrients into your body quickly and easily, and because I rarely eat breakfast, this is also a good way for me.
